After first opening its doors on a cold and blustery December morning in 1964, The Donut Pub has come to represent New York City at its very best, brightest and most delicious.

Born and raised in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, owner, Buzzy Geduld, a Wall Street trader, actually started The Donut Pub with his brother after losing his first job as a quote boy on a trading floor. And it is from such humble beginnings that Buzzy learned the lessons that would serve him in all of his subsequent business endeavors. As he told Bloomberg News, "I learned how to run a brokerage firm from The Donut Pub."

The Donut Pub boasts a wall of fresh-made donuts, cookies, and croissant donuts worthy of culinary commendation. The Donut Pub is peanut and tree nut free, making it the perfect stop for anyone with a nut allergy.

In May 2019, The Donut Pub opened a second location on Astor Place, where you'll find the same classic treats and some exciting new additions.

Whether its our out-of-this-world maple bacon croissant donut or our black and white cookies, which one magazine called "the BEST" in the city, The Donut Pub has something for everyone. From old-fashioned classics like crullers and honey-dipped to modern favorites like Oreo rings, The Donut Pub is a treasure trove of tasty treats.

But don't take our word for it. Come in, grab a stool along our marble counter and see for yourself.

(Just make sure you bring room for seconds!)
